The versatile choice for one,

Designed For Capacity The Merry Two is the versatile Merry - row with a partner, take a friend as a passenger, or row by yourself - perfect for the larger rower. Or tour as Matt Kirchoff did with his son, on a one month trip exploring the outer coast of Chichagof Island in SE Alaska! The Merry Two enjoys an additional inch of freeboard for extended camping trips and slippery waterlines for smooth efficient rowing. The fine entry and soft bilge, combined with constant flare and wide outwales, make for a dry, comfortable ride in less than ideal conditions.

Versatile to Row Rigger position is considered early in the design process as hull shape, planking layout, frame design and position are critical to rowing ergonomics. The Merry Two hull is designed specifically for sliding seat rowing using a custom RowWing Fit Kit that secures the rig at the gunwale (not pictured). This combination provides maximum freeboard for sea keeping while allowing the lowest center-of -gravity for a great sense of security in adverse sea conditions. RowWing riggers may be instantly shifted or adjusted to any of three positions for best trim, regardless of configuration.

Make it your own The bare hull configuration is even easier to customize than before. Customers have built the Merry Two with fixed seat/oarlocks, bulkheads/decks and canvas spray decks - one with full length zipper access for row touring.
